Angelica M. Jarmusz

Angel joined the firm in 2016. Angel began her legal career as an Assistant Prosecutor in Knox County, Ohio. Working in the office’s civil division, Angel represented and advised the County, its elected officials, agencies, boards, and departments in all legal matters affecting county government, including labor and employment, civil litigation, contract negotiation, land acquisitions and sales, and general legal compliance. Angel received her Juris Doctor degree in May 2014 from the Ohio State University, Moritz College of Law and was admitted to the Ohio Bar in November 2014.
While in law school, Angel was a member of the Constitutional Law Moot Court Team and served as Articles Editor for the Ohio State Entrepreneurial Business Law Journal. Additionally, Angel was a Research Fellow for the Pro Bono Research Group and was designated a Public Service Fellow with Recognition. In the summer of 2012, she studied at the University of Oxford, St. Anne’s College, taking courses in European Union Law and Comparative Legal Studies. Angel gained practical legal experience as a judicial extern for Ohio Supreme Court Chief Justice Maureen O’Connor and a licensed legal intern for the Delaware City Prosecutor’s Office and Moritz’s Criminal Prosecution Clinic.
Prior to law school, Angel attended the University of New England, in Biddeford, Maine, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree, summa cum laude, in Sport Management, with a minor in Business Administration. She was a four-year member of the University of New England’s Women’s Lacrosse team and was recognized as the Commonwealth Coast Conference Senior Scholar Athlete of the Year in 2011.
On the Personal Side
Angel is a runner and has completed the Columbus Marathon. She also enjoys hiking and target shooting and is an active volunteer for local judicial campaigns.
