Edward joined the firm in 1996 and became the Managing Partner in 2007, bringing with him a strong tradition of family. Born in South Korea, Edward migrated to the United States when he was 4 years old. He remains extremely close to his and his wife's relatives. Just as importantly, he considers clients to be "a member of the family.”
Edward takes personal pride in providing clients with long-term solutions to the issues at hand. His foresight and strategic business planning serve clients well today and tomorrow.
In keeping with the firm philosophy of prevention being the best protection for employers, Edward advises clients on all issues relating to FMLA, ADA and FLSA and assists with the preparation of employee handbooks, policies and newsletters to ensure compliance with both municipal civil service rules and Ohio civil service laws.
Going beyond what is expected is a great source of personal pride.
Thoughtful, Successful Litigation
When problems arise with the employee relationship resulting in litigation, Edward represents clients in both Federal and State trial and appellate courts.
Excellent in Workers' Compensation
A key area of focus for Edward is in the development of policies and practices to minimize workers' compensation liability. His counsel also extends to representing clients in Workers’ Compensation matters in administrative hearings and in court.
Immigration and Nationality Law
Another aspect of his work includes helping individuals and employers obtain green cards, visas and citizenship through employment-based petitions, family-based immigration and naturalization.
On the Personal Side
Edward and his wife are the proud parents of a son. Edward is an avid golfer and serves on several community boards.
